Brad R. Pelletier, Member

Attorney Brad Pelletier of Pelletier Marshall & Clark

Mr. Pelletier is a resident of Lincoln, Rhode Island. He received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island (B.S. Business Administration, B.A. French). Mr. Pelletier earned his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University’s School of Law.

Mr. Pelletier represents individuals and businesses concerning residential real estate and financing transactions, business formation, condominium conversion and creation and estate planning. Mr. Pelletier is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Missouri.

In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Pelletier is active in the community as he proudly served on the Board of Directors for AIDS Care Ocean State, Marriage Equality Rhode Island and the Rhode Island Association of Gay Professionals. He is currently active with the Rhode Island Lawyers for Equality & Diversity, the Rhode Island Bar Association LGBT Committee, and the Rhode Island Title Standards Committee. He was previously a board member for the Summit Neighborhood Association.

Brad enjoys teaching real estate education classes to local Realtors, playing tennis and taking full advantage of the beautiful Rhode Island beaches in the summer.

Marlene Samra Marshall, Member

Marlene Marshall of Pelletier Marshall & Clark

Attorney Marshall is a lifelong resident of Cumberland, Rhode Island. She received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Wheaton College (B.A. Economics). Ms. Marshall earned her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School while simultaneously earning her Master of Science in Finance from Suffolk University’s Frank Sawyer School of Management, where she received a graduate fellowship.

She represents individuals and businesses concerning commercial and residential real estate and financing transactions, purchase and sale of businesses, business formation, probate administration, condominium conversion and creation and zoning, planning and land use. Attorney Marshall is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Rhode Island and the state courts of Massachusetts. She appears before administrative bodies, including local municipal boards and probate courts.

In addition to practicing law, she has been active as an educator, most recently teaching graduate-level economics as part of Johnson & Wales University’s MBA program. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and black lab. She proudly serves on the Title Standards Committee of the Rhode Island Bar Association and is active in her daughters’ schools.

Carol L. Ricker, Of Counsel

Attorney Ricker was born and raised in Virginia and received her bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Radford University, where she was a member of the division I field hockey team.  Attorney Ricker earned her Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston, graduating with honors.

Attorney Ricker represents clients in state and federal courts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  Her practices areas involve complex litigation in the areas of real estate and property law, commercial and business disputes, commercial eviction actions, personal injury defense and prosecution, and all manner of family law matters including high-net worth divorce with particular focus on representing closely-held business owners in the divorce process.

Chad Nelson, Of Counsel

Attorney Nelson is originally from Syracuse, New York and received his undergraduate degree from Hobart College (B.A. Political Science). He earned his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University’s School of Law, and resides in Providence.

Attorney Nelson has spent his career assisting clients with all of their estate planning needs. He is dedicated to helping families achieve their objectives no matter the size or complexity of their estate. His practice areas include tax and succession planning, elder law, asset protection and long-term care planning, special needs trusts, charitable giving, and probate and trust administration.

Attorney Nelson is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, and frequently speaks to local audiences on all manner of estate planning topics. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and being active outdoors.
